Ridge Way is a cozy cottage built in 2022 with total living space of approximately 675 square feet, including the loft. Our goal is to make you feel at home while on vacation with this functional minimalistic living space. The property has natural scenic views of the ridge and cranberry bog along with an outdoor patio and fire pit to allow guests to immerse themselves in nature while enjoying their Northern Michigan getaway. On the main floor there is the living area, kitchen, bathroom with large shower, the main bedroom, and stacked washer and dryer. The living area includes a smart TV, electric fireplace, and blanket rack. The kitchen is fully stocked and includes a dishwasher, oven, stove, and table with seating for four. The loft has an addition living area with a queen bed and a dedicated workstation. The stairs to the loft are steeper than normal but have a railing for support. Parking is available onsite and there is space available to park a boat or snowmobile trailer. Everything in Glen Arbor is walkable. Located approximately 1/3 mile from restaurants, shops, the grocery store, township park, and multiple wineries and 2 miles from Sleeping Bear Dunes and Lake Michigan Beaches - it doesn't get any better than this! The amenities of Ridge Way and proximity to Downtown Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Dunes make this a perfect getaway.

Other Details to Note

During the summer months there is a 7 night minimum stay. Weeks run Sunday-Sunday. During the rest of the year there is a 2 night minimum stay. Ridge Way has well water. It is safe to drink, but some guests prefer to bring bottled water for drinking. There is an Echo Dot, a voice-controlled smart speaker with Alexa, in the cottage for use by guests. If guests prefer, the Echo Dot can be turned off and will only function as a clock, not a smart device.

My partner and I look at Glen Arbor as our happy place, a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We usually stay at a bed and breakfast, but this time we wanted to bring our sweet puppy along, which led us to Ridgeway. It was the perfect choice! Our pup had the time of her life running and exploring right in the backyard. The space was cozy, but honestly, we spent most of our time outside by the fire pit, soaking in the fresh air and quiet. It was exactly the getaway we needed.

The best Airbnb stay I’ve ever experienced! From makeup wipes to floss picks to dog leashes, they had everything you could think of. Upon arrival, John was driving by and suggested we change the temperature in the house which we greatly appreciated. Walkable to trails and downtown glen arbor. Looking forward to another stay at cranberry ridge in the future.

Absolutely beautiful accommodations in a picturesque location. The house was meticulously designed and perfectly appointed with very comfortable furniture and beds. Great proximity to Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail so you can bike to the various trail heads in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.

We had a wonderful weekend in Glen Arbor. The home is within walking distance to the downtown area and just a short bike ride to the Heritage Trail. The house is cute, clean, and has everything you could need. The beds were comfortable!

You can bike or walk nearly everywhere. Within 1/2 mile are restaurants, grocery store, shops, 3 wineries, Cherry Republic, and the township park. Parking is available on site, with space for a boat or snowmobile trailer. Sleeping Bear Dunes and Lake Michigan beach is approximately 2 miles from the property. An entrance to natural hiking and paved biking trails is approximately 1/4 mile from the property.
